I have dug the two Jack Scott Christmas tracks since I first heard them on the 'Teenage Moon' L.P that was released in the UK in the mid 1980's. 'Santa Bring Her Back' comes from Dale Watson's 2001 CD 'Christmas Time in Texas'. I love a Christmas song you can jive to (I'm the worlds worst dancer!) The Davis Sisters 'The Christmas Boogie' rounds off my first festive post. The next one is a Bing Crosby 10 inch vinyl rip!

B and the Bops
At this precise moment in time (26th November 2013) I'm working on saving up enough money to get to see this band play a live gig on their home soil in Zagreb, Croatia. The first reason being I just love this band, and the second is that Croatia has always been on my list of got to go to places.

The Rhythm River Trio
THE RHYTHM RIVER TRIO - YOU KNOW I'M MEAN
This excellent London based band were formed in 2008. They play early country style rockabilly. They also write their own material and like to stay as close to the original sound of early rockabilly as possible. I saw them open the Rockabilly Rave 14 with an amazing set and performance. Their first CD 'The Wild Side of Life' was released on Rhythm Bomb Records in 2012 it is a fine collection of original songs and well chosen (and played) covers.

The Rhythm River Trio have recently recorded songs for their new CD 'Just Honky Tonkin Around' at Sugar Ray's vintage studio. The artwork below is not the final edit it still needs to be tweaked! But it definitely has that vintage look to it. I can not wait to get my hands on a copy.
