Mitchell Torok was born in Houston, Texas on October 28, 1929 and became known as Mexican Joe after a song he wrote for Jim Reeves.
Caribbean is a nice up-tempo number while the flipside 'Weep Away' is a pure Country & Western weeper.Two more discs from Mitchell appeared on the UK London label; ‘Hootchy Kootchy Henry (From Hawaii)’ and ‘The Haunting Waterfall’.
He did have a tour of the UK with Johnnie Ray and the John Barry Seven in 1957.
