Jim Dale - Scratchy 45's

I found some more scratchy 45's by Jim Dale
The video below is one of two (the other being 'All Shook Up') Jim Dale songs on the "Top Ten Special" Extended Play (45) released by Parlophone (45-R 4356) in 1957.

Random Rockabillies Part 2 - Руки'в брюки

Lawdy Miss Clawdy
I've been following this band's story via YouTube and what I have seen I like. They have played a couple of rock 'n' roll festivals (although sadly not in the UK) and they have just recorded for Rhythm Bomb Records, so we should hear some new material soon. I believe the English translation of their name is 'Hands in Pockets'. You can find out more info on them via their Facebook page or the Band website or check out their reverbnation page.
Below is a link to a collection of live MP3s sourced from the Internet.

She's Mine

I really wish I could find another picture of Johnny Strickland, all my Internet searches come up with his Roulette Records publicity head-shot. I first heard 'She's Mine' back in the mid 70's on Roger Scott's 'American Dreams' Capitol Radio show and as soon as I heard it I made a bee-line to the Vintage Record Center in Roman Way, North London to pick up a re-pro 45 vinyl copy.
I never heard anything else by him for years, until YouTube made music discovery a lot easier. Here is a cool 'smoocher' from Johnny.

I love this band. When I first came across them in 2005 they were playing at the 'Rhythms of the World Festival', in Hertfordshire. They were spreading the word about rockabilly music to non rockin' audiences.
